This bespoke client had bought a very deep boulder opal and large garnet to have made into a ring. She approached Tara Lois to design and create a statement gold ring using these stones.

She also owned an opal pendant, cuff bracelet and earrings previously created for her by Tara Lois, so the design had to fit within the collection, like these personalised gold filigree mix & match opal garnet earrings and her designer gold opal pearl and tourmaline cuff.

In particular she asked for an irregular, quirky design which used filigree, so this ring accentuates the juxtaposition of the large raised stones and lower delicate gold filigree. There is an irregular outline which twists as it meets the filigree filled ring shank.
