Heirloom White Gold Engagement and Wedding Ring

Heirloom White Gold Engagement and Wedding Ring

This ring concept began with a bespoke consultation with the bride-to-be, her fiancé and her mother.

Once the designs were agreed, the groom was the only person contacted, so that, when he officially proposed, the engagement ring was a surprise. Of course, he knew the ring would be a success because the bride had had input during the design stage.

The bride’s brief was to design stacking white gold engagement and wedding rings, with nature as inspiration. She also wanted to include her grandmother’s diamond solitaire engagement ring made mostly from yellow gold.

After preparing a number of alternative designs, the one chosen by the clients had a leaf design on both the engagement ring and wedding ring, that gently curled around the diamond solitaire when they were worn together. This also added protection to the antique diamond setting.

The groom asked for a simple wedding band which clearly matched the bride’s rings. So, to tie the bespoke groom’s matching white gold wedding ring into the set, all the rings a matching texture and width.

Text message from the future bride immediately after being asked the big question. She still hadn’t seen the wedding rings.
