This was designed for a special man who wanted a pendant to sum up his life achievements and his new future as he retired. He specifically asked for pearls to be incorporated.

His career was in aviation but he loves sailing. He chose the first design proposed which included a stylised propeller on one side, with open wire representing a mast and full billowing sail on the other.

The final design used pearls to represent his family. The black baroque pearl moves freely within the wire representing his wife, and the 4 pink pearls move up and down on the 18 carat gold wire symbolising his children.
