This Gordon Hill pendant design is inspired by the way the sun turns deep red a sunset just before the lighthouse light starts turning.

It is created using traditional repoussé to shape satin finished sterling 925 silver sheet into a raised form.

The woven contemporary filigree pattern and the bail through which a chain passes represent the rotating light of the Gordon lighthouse on top of the hill.

I am a scuba diver so I hate seeing coral jewellery, but this piece is from an antique necklace given to me, so I hope to share the beauty with non-divers, without doing any further damage to this rare species.
