The bride-to-be asked me to design a single earring for her bridesmaid daughter, which she could wear to events afterwards.

Because of the age of the bridesmaid, and the relative informality of the wedding ceremony planned, I wanted to the design to be youthful and fun. The bridesmaid supplied an uncut pink saphire which held special memories and asked if I coud include the stone.

The design they chose was a single drop earring with a pure silver nugget above the pink saphire on handmade chain. I also included a detatchable non-pierced ear cuff.

I was really happy to see the photograph of the daughter’s university graduation and in price of place is the earring I created. Congratulations.
